ANTENNA FDTD STUDIO · APPLICATION EXAMPLE

Dipole antenna.

Start with the two-arm dipole in the modeling workspace, then explore its recorded electromagnetic fields, port response and radiation pattern.

01 · MODEL SETUP

02 · RECORDED FIELDS

The field around the dipole.

Recorded electromagnetic field planes around the dipole, with the original color scale and simulation-time labels. Playback preserves the exported frame timing.

03 · FREQUENCY RESPONSE

Inspect the port response.

The supplied response plots show magnitude, return loss, VSWR and impedance versus frequency, alongside the normalized-impedance Smith chart for port 1.

04 · RADIATION PATTERN

See the radiated pattern.
